Requirements for recertification for 2011
By 12/1/2010:
1 - Complete 2011 USA Non-athlete registration. Check with your Officials Rep for details on how your team will process forms and payment.
By 12/31/2010:
2 - Complete on-line recertification test for your highest level of certification. The test is on the USA Swimming website, to access:
- go to usaswimming.org
- select MEMBER RESOURCES from the menu at top of page, then select OFFICIALS
- from the Official's page, select TESTING & CERTIFICATION from the menu on left
- select ONLINE OFFICIALS TEST from menu on left
- follow instructions to sign in, then select the RECERTIFICATION test for your HIGHEST level of certification
- NOTE - once you have completed the test, I will receive notification from USA Swimming, no need for you to inform me.
3 - Work required minimum number of sessions:
- Timer Judge - 4 sessions
- S&T - 4 sessions
- Starter - 4 sessions at Starter or higher
- Referee - 6 sessions, at least 1 as Referee
- NOTE - we update our database for all KYLSC meets, based on sign-in sheets, so it is essential that you sign in at all sessions. If you work out-of-state meets, it is your responsibility to get your white KYSLC card signed, and email me with session details.
