Officials Job Signup
Officials can now volunteer to officiate the state meets. Go to the "Meets" tab, find the meet you wish to officiate, click on "Job Signup". You must have a user id and password. If you did not have one emailed to you, please contact Julie Floyd.
If you wish to signup for more than 4 sessions, you will need to log out, then log back in.
Apprenticing is not offered at State Championship meets.
How to Locate On-line Tests
1. Go to USASWIMMING.ORG
2. If you already have an account set, sign in, otherwise select sign in to set up an account.
3. Select the VOLUNTEERS tab at the top.
4. Select OFFICIALS from the list on the left
5. Select ONLINE TESTS from the list on the left.
6. Select the appropriate test from the drop down menu and follow instructions.

OPEN WATER - it's new and exciting!
1. 2010 KYLSC Open Water Championship will be held in conjunction with Ohio Swimming on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at East Fork Lake in Batavia, OH.
2. See the KentuckyOpenWater.com website for detailed information
3. Sign ups to officiate this meet are open on our KYLSC.org website, under the MEETS tab
4. Certification:
- must be currently certified as Stroke and Turn official
- complete the OPEN WATER certification test at USASWIMMING.org
- complete one apprentice session - our OW Championship will count as this apprentice session

1. Attend Clinic: Certification Clinics 2010
2. Take the S&T/Timer test
3. Apprentice 4 sessions
4. Complete and mail all necessary forms
5. Receive credentials
6. Display credentials at all meets
7. Must complete process in 1 year
Timer Judge Certification Requirements
INITIAL CERTIFICATION:
- Attend Stroke & Turn clinic
- Attend Timer Judge clinic
- Complete Timer Judge test
- Apprentice 2 sessions
- Certification Clinics 2010
ANNUAL RECERTIFICATION:
- Complete Timer Judge Recertification test or attend clinic
- Work 4 sessions as Timer Judge
